NFATc2 Antibody (G1-D10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects NFATc2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. NFATc2 plays a crucial role in the regulation of cytokine gene expression in T cells, which is vital for the immune response. Upon recognition of an antigen by the T cell receptor, the calcium-dependent protein phosphatase calcineurin is activated, leading to the translocation of NFATc2 from the cytoplasm to the nucleus. In the nucleus, NFATc2 collaborates with AP-1 transcription factors to initiate the transcription of cytokine genes, thereby influencing T cell activation and differentiation. This process is essential for the proper functioning of the immune system, as NFATc2 ensures that T cells can effectively respond to pathogens. The ability of NFATc2 to synergize with other transcription factors highlights its importance in the complex network of immune signaling pathways, making NFATc2 (G1-D10) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for studying these critical processes in various experimental settings.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-7295 X be used instead of the standard form sc-7295?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
