NF90 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects NF90 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NF90 (A-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NF90, also known as nuclear factor of activated T-cells 90 kDa, NFAR, DRBF, DRBP76, M-phase phosphoprotein 4, ILF3, or TCP80, is a crucial nuclear protein that plays a significant role in the regulation of gene expression, particularly in T-cells. NF90 exists as a heterodimer with NF45 and contains two double-stranded RNA-binding domains and one DZF domain, which are essential for binding to RNA and regulating the expression of interleukin-2 by interacting with the antigen receptor response element of the IL-2 enhancer. NF90′s structure enables interactions with double-stranded RNA, which is vital for immune response and viral defense mechanisms. NF90 also represses the replication of certain viruses, such as human rhinovirus type 2, by binding to specific regions of viral RNA, showcasing a role in both cellular regulation and antiviral responses.
