NF45 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects NF45 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NF45, also known as ILF2, is a crucial transcription factor that plays a significant role in regulating gene expression by forming a heterodimer with NF90 (ILF3). This interaction is particularly important as the NF45/NF90 complex is involved in the regulation of interleukin-2 (IL-2) expression, which is vital for T cell activation and proliferation. The ability of NF45 to bind to the antigen receptor response element (ARRE) within the IL-2 enhancer highlights its essential function in immune responses. Additionally, in neuronal cells, the NF45/NF90 heterodimer has been shown to inhibit the replication of human rhinovirus type 2 by targeting the viral RNA′s 5′ untranslated region, which encodes the internal ribosome entry site (IRES). This dual role in both immune regulation and viral response underscores the importance of NF45 in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to external stimuli, making anti-NF45 antibody (G-3) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
