NF-M Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NF-M protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NF-M (E-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Neurofilament-M (NF-M), which stands for neurofilament medium polypeptide, is a crucial component of the neuronal cytoskeleton and belongs to the intermediate filament family. NF-M plays a vital role in maintaining the structural integrity of neurons, particularly in regulating axon caliber, which is essential for proper nerve signal conduction.
