Thank you for your question. Yes, this nestin mouse monoclonal antibody with clone designation Rat-401 is commercially available from other suppliers as well as Santa Cruz Biotechnology.

I can not find a single reference where this antibody is used for immunoprecipitation. Do you have evidence that antibody (Rat-401) can be used for such a purpose?

Thank you for your question. We are not aware of any publications citing use of this nestin Antibody (Rat-401): sc-33677 for immunoprecipitation. The antibody has been cited in over 40 publications, but is most commonly used for WB, IF and IHC applications. We do warranty the antibody for IP based on the antibody's performance in other research applications. If you purchase the antibody, and it does not work in any of the recommended applications, please contact our Technical Service Department. We can assist you with troubleshooting the antibody, and offer either a replacement or refund of your purchase.
