NDUFC2 Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NDUFC2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NDUFC2 (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NDUFC2, also known as NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 subunit C2, plays a crucial role as an accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), which is essential for cellular respiration and energy production. This 119 amino acid protein is located in the inner mitochondrial membrane and is integral to the proper functioning of Complex I, which is responsible for transferring electrons from NADH to ubiquinone, thereby facilitating the generation of ATP through oxidative phosphorylation. The structural integrity and functionality of Complex I are vital, as defects in this complex can lead to a range of mitochondrial diseases and contribute to various neurodegenerative disorders. Anti-NDUFC2 antibody (G-9) enables researchers to gain insights into NDUFC2′s role in mitochondrial function and implications in health and disease.
