NDST1 Antibody (FF-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NDST1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NDST1 antibody (FF-2) is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. NDST1 plays a crucial role in the modification of heparan sulfate and heparin through N-deacetylation and N-sulfation of N-acetylglucosamine residues, which are essential for synthesizing oligosaccharide sequences with specific ligand-binding properties. These modifications are vital for numerous biological processes, including cell signaling, development, and regulation of cell-matrix interactions. NDST1 is part of a family of GlcNAc N-deacetylase/N-sulfotransferases, sharing significant homology with NDST2, while NDST3 and NDST4 exhibit a more restricted expression pattern in various tissues. Can sc-100790: NDST1 (FF-2) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100790: NDST1 (FF-2) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
