    SEE ALSO...

NDRG4 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects NDRG4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NDRG4 antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NDRG4 protein, also known as SMAP-8 or BDM1, is a 352 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in regulating mitogenic signaling pathways, particularly in vascular smooth muscle cells. NDRG4 expression is primarily localized in the brain and heart, highlighting its importance in these tissues. NDRG4 is involved in early postnatal development and mediates the differentiation and functional maturation of neuronal cells, which is vital for proper brain function and development. Additionally, NDRG4 is expressed as six isoforms due to alternative splicing, with the first three designated as NDRG4-BVar, NDRG4-B, and NDRG4-H, allowing for functional diversity and regulation in various cellular contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514144 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
