    SEE ALSO...

NDEL1 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NDEL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NDEL1 (D-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The NudE-like protein (Ndel1) plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in the organization of microtubules and the positioning of the nucleus during cell division. Ndel1 is predominantly expressed in the testis, brain, heart, hypothalamus, liver, lung, spleen, and stomach, specifically localized at the interphase centrosome and mitotic spindle. Ndel1 positively regulates minus-end directed dynein, and Ndel1 interaction with LIS1 is essential for sustaining dynein function, which in turn impacts microtubule organization and neuronal positioning. Ndel1 undergoes phosphorylation during mitosis, facilitating the tethering of dynactin and dynein to the mother centriole, thereby anchoring microtubules. Disruption of Ndel1 function in the developing neocortex can lead to impaired neuronal positioning and a disconnection between the centrosome and nucleus, which may contribute to mitochondrial transport dysfunction and is associated with psychiatric conditions such as lissencephaly and schizophrenia.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with NDEL1 (D-5): sc-365094?

    Asked by: AbPolly
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
