NALP1 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NALP1 across mouse, rat, and human species by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NALP1 (B-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NACHT-, LRR-, and PYD-containing protein 1 (NALP1), also known as caspase recruitment domain protein 7, is a crucial cytoplasmic protein that plays a significant role in the innate immune response. NALP1 is essential for the formation of inflammasomes, which are multi-protein complexes that activate inflammatory responses. NALP1′s structure includes a putative nucleotide binding site, leucine-rich repeats, and death domain folds at both ends, which facilitate protein-protein interactions, particularly in recruiting caspases. This recruitment is vital for the activation of pro-caspase-9, leading to apoptosis, a process that is critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to cellular stress. NALP1 is widely expressed in various tissues, including the thymus, heart, spleen, and peripheral blood leukocytes, highlighting its importance in immune regulation and response.
