    SEE ALSO...

NADSYN1 Antibody (3E3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NADSYN1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NADSYN1 antibody (3E3) is available as the non-conjugated format. NADSYN1, also known as NAD synthetase 1, plays a crucial role in the synthesis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), a vital cofactor involved in numerous cellular processes, including metabolic redox reactions and cell signaling. This 706 amino acid protein features a carbon-nitrogen hydrolase domain and is a member of the NAD synthetase family, which is essential for the ATP-dependent conversion of deamido-NAD+ to free NAD+. NADSYN1 is predominantly expressed in the testis, kidney, liver, and small intestine, highlighting its importance in various metabolic pathways. Notably, NADSYN1 exists as a homohexamer and utilizes both ammonia and glutamate as amide donors, which is significant for enzymatic activity. Furthermore, NADSYN1 expression in human promyelocytic leukemia and glioma cell lines suggests a potential involvement in tumorigenesis, making NADSYN1 a protein of interest for cancer research.
