    SEE ALSO...

NaBC1 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NaBC1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NaBC1 Antibody (F-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NaBC1, also known as Novel amplified in breast cancer 1, plays a crucial role in cellular processes and is notably amplified in many breast carcinoma cases. NaBC1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm as a detergent-stable homodimer, suggesting potential involvement in intracellular signaling pathways. NaBC1 has been shown to interact with proteins such as DYNLL1 and DYNLL2, which are involved in various cellular functions, including motor protein activity and cellular transport. Breast tumor lines exhibiting amplification of the 20q13.2 region show markedly elevated levels of NaBC1 compared to other breast cancer lines that do not overexpress NaBC1 mRNA, yet this upregulation does not correlate with increased growth rates or anchoring abilities, suggesting that NaBC1′s oncogenic properties may operate through distinct mechanisms compared to other oncogenes.
