N-Myc Antibody (C-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects N-Myc in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). N-Myc is a crucial member of the Myc family of oncogenes, which are integral to cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. N-Myc is primarily located in the nucleus, where N-Myc functions as a transcription factor regulating gene expression involved in cell growth and metabolism. Nuclear localization of N-Myc is vital for oncogenesis, allowing N-Myc to interact with specific DNA sequences and modulate gene expression in response to cellular signals.
