SEE ALSO...

MZT2A/B Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects MZT2A/B of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MZT2A/B (B-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MZT2A and MZT2B proteins, also known as FAM128A and FAM128B, are crucial components of the MOZART2 family, consisting of 158 amino acids each. MZT2A and MZT2B play a significant role in organizing the mitotic spindle during cell division, which is essential for accurate chromosome segregation and maintaining genomic stability. Disruptions in this process can lead to aneuploidy and various cancers, highlighting MZT2A/B′s importance in cellular function and disease. The genes encoding MZT2A and MZT2B are located on chromosome 2q21, a region associated with several genetic disorders, underscoring MZT2A/B′s relevance in both normal physiology and pathological conditions.
