MYH2 Antibody (6D595) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody specifically designed to detect the MYH2 protein, also known as myosin heavy chain 2, MyHC-IIa, Myosin-2, or MYHSA2, in mouse, rat, human, rabbit, and fish tissues. MYH2 monoclonal antibody (6D595) targets neonatal slow-like MYH2, raised against neonatal skeletal muscle myosin of human origin, and is validated for use in western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. MYH2 is a critical component of the sarcomeric thick filaments in skeletal muscle fibers, playing a key role in muscle contraction by interacting with actin filaments to generate force.
