    SEE ALSO...

MYH15 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MYH15 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MYH15 (C-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MYH15, also known as Myosin heavy chain 15, is a crucial component of the cytoskeletal system, consisting of 1,946 amino acids and featuring an N-terminal myosin head-like domain and an IQ domain. MYH15 plays a significant role in muscle contractions, as MYH15 interacts with actin filaments to facilitate various cellular movements, including cytokinesis and phagocytosis. The gene encoding MYH15 is located on human chromosome 3, which is rich in genes associated with diverse biological functions, including a cluster of chemokine receptor genes and several loci related to human cancers. Understanding the structure and function of MYH15 is vital, as MYH15 is a major determinant of the speed of contraction in skeletal muscle, with different isoforms being expressed based on the muscle′s functional activity. Studying MYH15 through applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) allows researchers to explore MYH15′s role in muscle physiology and potential implications in muscle-related diseases.
