MuRF3 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MuRF3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MuRF3 (B-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MuRF3 protein, also known as tripartite motif-containing 54 (TRIM54) or ring finger protein 30 (RNF30), plays a crucial role in muscle development and maintenance by interacting with tubulin to stabilize microtubules during myotube formation. This stabilization is vital for proper muscle cell structure and function, as microtubules are essential for intracellular transport and cytoskeleton organization. MuRF3 is primarily localized in the cytoplasm and is found at the Z-lines in skeletal muscle, where MuRF3 contributes to the structural integrity of muscle fibers. Notably, MuRF3 shares significant sequence identity with family members MuRF1 and MuRF2, which also participate in muscle protein turnover and gene regulation, highlighting the importance of this protein family in muscle biology.
