MRP4 Antibody (M4I-10) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects MRP4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-MRP4 antibody (M4I-10) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile applications in research. MRP4, a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, plays a crucial role in the efflux of various organic anions, including drugs and metabolites, from cells, thereby influencing drug disposition and resistance in cancer therapy. MRP4 is predominantly localized in the plasma membrane of various tissues, including the kidney and liver, where MRP4 is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and detoxification processes. MRP4 function is vital, as dysregulation of MRP4 can lead to altered pharmacokinetics of therapeutic agents and contribute to multidrug resistance in cancer cells.
