  • MRP3 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 880-900 of MRP3 of mouse origin
  • recommended for detection of MRP3 of mouse and rat origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • Anti-MRP3 Antibody (B-2) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for MRP3 Antibody (B-2) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with MRP3 Antibody (B-2) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

MRP3 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects MRP3 in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MRP3 (B-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MRP3, a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family, plays a crucial role in the cellular export of organic anions and is particularly important in the context of drug resistance in cancer therapy. MRP3 is primarily located in the basolateral membrane of hepatocytes, where MRP3 facilitates the transport of conjugated metabolites, such as S-(2,4-dinitrophenyl-) glutathione, from the cytoplasm to the bloodstream. MRP3 localization is significant because MRP3 allows for the efficient clearance of potentially harmful substances from the liver, especially when the apical transporter MRP2 is compromised. Under normal physiological conditions, MRP3 is expressed at lower levels compared to MRP2, but MRP3 expression can be upregulated in response to cellular stress or impaired secretion, highlighting MRP3′s adaptive role in maintaining hepatic function and drug metabolism.
