MRCKα Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MRCK alpha protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MRCKα antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MRCK alpha protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating actin dynamics and cell motility. MRCK alpha protein is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where MRCK alpha protein interacts with cytoskeletal components to influence cell shape and movement. This localization is vital for processes such as cell migration, which is essential for wound healing and immune responses. Additionally, MRCK alpha protein phosphorylates nonmuscle myosin light chain, thereby modulating actin-myosin contractility and facilitating cytoskeletal reorganization. MRCK alpha protein influences neurite outgrowth through interactions with Cdc42 and Rac, underscoring MRCK alpha protein′s importance in neuronal development and regeneration.
