    SEE ALSO...

MPHOSPH6 Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MPHOSPH6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MPHOSPH6 antibody (D-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MPHOSPH6, also known as M-phase phosphoprotein 6 or MPP6, plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle progression, particularly during the transition from interphase to mitosis. MPHOSPH6 is involved in phosphorylating various substrates, essential for interphase structure disassembly and M phase-specific enzymatic activity activation. MPHOSPH6 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16q23.3 and mouse chromosome 8 E1, consisting of 160 amino acids with a nuclear localization signal motif that facilitates nuclear transport. Proper MPHOSPH6 function is vital for cell division, and dysregulation can lead to various cellular abnormalities, making MPHOSPH6 an important target for research in cancer and other proliferative diseases.

Can MPHOSPH6 (D-3): sc-393429 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes, MPHOSPH6 (D-3): sc-393429 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
