    Morphine Antibody (MOP-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Morphine by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Morphine antibody (MOP-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Morphine, a potent opiate analgesic derived from opium, plays a critical role in pain management by acting on the µ opioid receptors in the central nervous system, which are primarily located in the brain and spinal cord. The binding of Morphine to these receptors not only alleviates pain but also induces sedation and euphoria, making Morphine a valuable yet highly addictive substance.
