    SEE ALSO...

MORF4L1/2 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects MORF4L1 and MORF4L2 proteins from mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MORF4L1/2 (E-2) antibody is available in a non-conjugated form, providing researchers with a versatile tool for studying these important proteins. The mortality factor 4 family, which includes MORF4, MORF4L1, and MORF4L2, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in transcription regulation and cellular senescence. MORF4L1, also known as mortality factor 4-like 1, is located in the nucleus and dendrites of Purkinje cells, highlighting MORF4L1′s significance in neuronal function. MORF4L1 contains a C-terminal leucine zipper, which is essential for protein-protein interactions, and MORF4L1 has been shown to associate with key regulatory proteins such as the retinoblastoma tumor suppressor (Rb) and the histone acetyl transferase MOF. These interactions suggest MORF4L1′s involvement in the modulation of gene expression, particularly in the context of cellular aging and differentiation. MORF4L1 and MORF4L2 genes are located on chromosomes 15q25.1 and Xq22.2, respectively, and MORF4L1/2 expression is tightly regulated, making these proteins important targets for research in cancer and developmental biology.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393208 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
