MLF2 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MLF2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MLF2 Antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MLF2 (A-9) antibody recognizes a 248-amino acid molecule crucial for normal hematopoietic differentiation and involved in switching between erythroid and myeloid lineages, essential for proper blood cell development and function. MLF2 (A-9) monoclonal antibody targets a protein predominantly expressed in tissues such as testis, ovary, skeletal muscle, heart, kidney, and colon, while showing lower expression levels in spleen, thymus, and peripheral blood leukocytes. MLF2 shares 40% sequence identity with myeloid leukemia factor 1 (MLF1) and is located on chromosome 12p13, a region frequently associated with translocations in acute leukemias of both lymphoid and myeloid origins, underscoring its significance in cancer research.
