SEE ALSO...

MIP-4 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MIP-4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MIP-4 (A-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MIP-4, a member of the C-C chemokine subfamily, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a chemoattractant for monocytes and T cells, thereby facilitating their migration to sites of inflammation. This function is vital for the body′s ability to respond to infections and injuries, as MIP-4 helps to recruit immune cells to areas where they are needed most. MIP-4 is constitutively expressed in several normal tissues and is particularly abundant in plasma, highlighting MIP-4′s importance in maintaining homeostasis and responding to pathological conditions. The diverse applications of anti-MIP-4 antibody (A-7) make MIP-4 (A-7) monoclonal antibody an essential tool for researchers studying immune responses, inflammation, and related diseases.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374438 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
