    SEE ALSO...

MIC1 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects MIC1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MIC1 antibody (D-7) is available as the non-conjugated form. MIC1 protein, also known as C18orf8, is a 657 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a single MIC1 domain and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 18, which harbors over 300 protein-coding genes and spans nearly 76 million bases. MIC1 (D-7) antibody recognizes a protein crucial for regulating immune responses and inflammation, where dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. MIC1 protein interacts with specific proteins such as TGF-beta, which is essential for mediating cellular responses to stress and inflammation, making these interactions vital for understanding disease progression and developing targeted therapies.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390305 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
