SEE ALSO...

mGluR-3 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects mGluR-3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-mGluR-3 antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. mGluR-3, a member of the metabotropic glutamate receptor family, plays a crucial role in modulating synaptic transmission and plasticity in the central nervous system, which is vital for processes such as learning and memory. Located primarily in the presynaptic terminals of neurons, mGluR-3 is involved in the inhibition of neurotransmitter release, thereby regulating excitatory signaling pathways. mGluR-3′s ability to fine-tune synaptic activity underscores its importance in maintaining neural homeostasis and its potential implications in neuropsychiatric disorders. Additionally, mGluR-3 may interact with proteins such as GRASP, further influencing its functional dynamics within the cellular environment.
