Mesothelin Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects mesothelin in mouse samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Mesothelin is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-linked cell-surface molecule predominantly expressed in the mesothelial lining of body cavities and is notably overexpressed in various tumor cells, particularly in ovarian cancers and mesotheliomas. Anti-mesothelin antibody (B-3) targets a critical tumor antigen, making mesothelin essential for cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. Mesothelin expression is particularly high in serous papillary, endometrioid, and undifferentiated ovarian cancers, as well as pancreatic cancers, while lower levels are observed in adenocarcinomas of the endometrium, lung, and stomach/esophagus. The mesothelin transcript is present in several adult mouse tissues, including the lung, heart, spleen, liver, kidney, and testis, indicating potential involvement in various physiological processes.
