SEE ALSO...

MEK-4 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MEK-4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MEK-4 antibody (G-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MEK-4, also known as SEK1 or MKK-4, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by activating both p38 and c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) MAP kinases, which are essential for mediating stress responses, apoptosis, and inflammation. The activation of these kinases helps regulate various cellular processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and survival, making MEK-4 an important player in the MAPK signaling pathway. Understanding MEK-4 function and protein interactions can provide insights into diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where dysregulation of these pathways often occurs.
