Meis1/2/3 Antibody (9.2.7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Meis1/2/3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Meis1/2/3 (9.2.7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Meis1/2/3 proteins are critical transcription factors that play a significant role in developmental processes and hematopoietic differentiation. Meis1/2/3 proteins are primarily located in the nucleus, where these factors function as essential regulators of gene expression by forming heteromeric complexes with other transcription factors, such as Hox and Pbx proteins. This nuclear localization allows Meis proteins to directly influence transcriptional regulation of target genes involved in cell fate determination and tissue patterning. Notably, interaction between Meis proteins and Hox proteins enhances DNA binding affinity, which is crucial for precise regulation of developmental genes. Aberrant expression of Meis proteins has been implicated in various forms of leukemia, highlighting their importance in both normal physiology and disease states. Formation of distinct complexes between Meis1 and Pbx proteins, such as Pbx1, Pbx2, and Pbx3, further underscores regulatory mechanism complexity and potential as therapeutic targets in oncogenesis.

Are there any issues with using sc-101850: Meis1/2/3 (9.2.7) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody.
