SEE ALSO...

MDGI Antibody (67D3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects MDGI in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Mammary-derived growth inhibitor (MDGI), also known as Fatty Acid-Binding Protein 3 (FABP3), plays a crucial role in the transport and metabolism of fatty acids, which are essential for energy production and cellular function. MDGI is predominantly expressed in the myocardium and muscle tissues, where MDGI facilitates the uptake and intracellular transport of fatty acids, thereby influencing lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis. MDGI′s ability to bind and transport fatty acids is vital for maintaining the balance between lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, particularly in tissues with high energy demands such as the heart and skeletal muscles. Additionally, MDGI has been implicated in various physiological processes, including cell signaling and the regulation of gene expression, making MDGI an important target for research in metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases. Anti-MDGI antibody (67D3) is an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the intricate roles of fatty acid-binding proteins in health and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-58275: MDGI (67D3) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-58275 conjugates.
