MATH-3 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MATH-3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MATH-3 (D-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MATH-3 protein, a member of the Neurogenin family, plays a crucial role in the development of the nervous system by acting as a transcriptional regulator that influences cell fate decisions during neurogenesis. Specifically, MATH-3 is involved in the differentiation of neuronal precursors, particularly in the dorsal regions of the hindbrain and spinal cord, where MATH-3 contributes to the formation of sensory neurons. Understanding MATH-3 function is vital, as MATH-3 helps elucidate the mechanisms underlying neuronal development and the potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders. MATH-3 gene is located on mouse chromosome 10, and MATH-3 human homolog, HATH-1, shares a high degree of sequence identity, mapping to human chromosome 4q22. This conservation across species highlights MATH-3 importance in neural development and MATH-3 potential as a target for research into neurogenesis and related pathologies.
