Maspin Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects Maspin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Maspin antibody (C-8) is available as a non-conjugated format. Maspin, a member of the serpin family, functions primarily as a serine protease inhibitor, playing a crucial role in regulating proteolytic activity within the extracellular matrix and at the plasma membrane. This regulation is vital for maintaining tissue homeostasis and preventing pathological processes such as cancer metastasis.
