SEE ALSO...

MAPKAPK-2 Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MAPKAPK-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MAPKAPK-2 antibody (A-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MAPKAPK-2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in response to stress and inflammatory stimuli, by acting as a downstream effector of p38 MAP kinase and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathways. MAPKAPK-2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and translocates to the nucleus upon activation, where MAPKAPK-2 regulates gene expression and cell survival. MAPKAPK-2′s ability to modulate these pathways is vital for processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, making MAPKAPK-2 an important target for research in cancer and other diseases. MAPKAPK-2 undergoes phosphorylation, a key post-translational modification that enhances activity and stability, further underscoring MAPKAPK-2′s significance in cellular responses to external stimuli.
