MAO-B Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MAO-B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAO-B (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B) is an essential enzyme located in the outer mitochondrial membrane, where MAO-B plays a critical role in the oxidative deamination of biogenic amines, particularly in the metabolism of neurotransmitters such as phenylethylamine and benzylamine.
