Mammaglobin A Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Mammaglobin A of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Mammaglobin A (D-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Mammaglobin A, also known as MGB1 and secretoglobin, family 2A, member 2 (SCGB2A2), plays a crucial role in breast tissue development and is implicated in breast cancer pathology. Mammaglobin A is primarily located in mammary gland epithelial cell cytoplasm, where Mammaglobin A is involved in protein and lipid secretion, contributing to milk formation. Mammaglobin A localization serves as both a breast tissue marker and an indicator of certain tumors, making Mammaglobin A a valuable diagnostic target. Mammaglobin A expression is often upregulated in breast cancer, and Mammaglobin A detection in histological samples can aid in identifying malignant lesions, enhancing breast cancer diagnostic accuracy.
