MALT1 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MALT1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MALT1 Antibody (D-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation gene 1 (MALT1) plays a crucial role in the immune system, particularly in the regulation of lymphocyte activation and survival. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, MALT1 is involved in signaling pathways that activate nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NFκB), which is essential for proliferation and differentiation of B cells. MALT1′s structure includes two immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, which are critical for interaction with other signaling molecules, including Bcl10 protein. This interaction is vital for formation of a signaling complex that promotes cell survival and proliferation, making MALT1 a significant player in development of certain lymphomas, particularly those associated with translocation of API2 gene. MALT1 mRNA presence in pre-B cells, mature B cells, and plasma cells underscores MALT1′s importance in normal immune function and potential as a therapeutic target in lymphoid malignancies.
