SEE ALSO...

MALT1 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MALT1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MALT1 monoclonal antibody (B-12) is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation gene 1 (MALT1) plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in the activation of NFκB signaling pathways, which are essential for cell survival and proliferation. MALT1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is involved in the regulation of apoptosis and inflammation. This cytoplasmic localization allows MALT1 to interact with various signaling molecules, facilitating the transduction of signals that promote lymphocyte activation and differentiation. MALT1 (B-12) antibody is implicated in the pathogenesis of certain lymphomas, particularly those associated with the API2-MALT1 fusion protein, which results from chromosomal translocations. This fusion protein not only enhances the oncogenic potential of MALT1 but also disrupts normal apoptotic processes, leading to increased cell survival and proliferation in lymphoid tissues. MALT1 mRNA is expressed in pre-B cells, mature B cells, and plasma cells, highlighting MALT1′s importance in the development and function of the immune system.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with MALT1 (B-12): sc-46677?

Asked by: cjMara
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
