    SEE ALSO...

MAGP-1 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects MAGP-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAGP-1, or microfibril-associated glycoprotein 1, plays a crucial role in the formation and stabilization of elastic fibers, which are essential for the resilience and elasticity of various connective tissues. MAGP-1 is primarily located in the extracellular matrix, where MAGP-1 interacts with other key components such as fibrillin and elastin, forming a complex that is vital for maintaining the structural integrity of tissues. The proper assembly of these elastic fibers is critical for normal vascular development and function, as evidenced by studies showing that both underexpression and overexpression of the Zebrafish homolog of MAGP-1 significantly impact vascular morphology. Anti-MAGP-1 antibody (B-4) enables researchers to gain insights into the dynamics of elastic fiber formation and its implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, making MAGP-1 (B-4) antibody an invaluable tool for studies related to connective tissue disorders and vascular health.
