SEE ALSO...

LZIP Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LZIP protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-LZIP antibody (H-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LZIP protein, also known as Luman or CREB3, is a member of the ATF/CREB family and plays a crucial role in cellular processes by acting as a transcription factor that activates genes containing cyclic AMP response elements (CREs). LZIP function is particularly important in regulating gene expression in response to cellular stress and growth signals, thereby influencing cell proliferation and survival. LZIP is predominantly located in the endoplasmic reticulum, where LZIP interacts with HCF-1, a cellular protein essential for the activation of herpes simplex virus immediate-early genes. This interaction is vital for the transcriptional regulation of various genes, highlighting LZIP significance in both viral pathogenesis and normal cellular function. LZIP activity can be inhibited by HCLP-1, which underscores the complexity of LZIP regulatory mechanisms.
