Datasheets
  • Luciferase Antibody (Luci17) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ, cited in 13 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against Luciferase of Photinus pyralis origin
  • Luciferase Antibody (Luci17) is recommended for detection of endogenous Luciferase of Photinus pyralis origin by WB, IP and IF; also recommended for detection of overexpressed luciferase in additional mammalian and non-mammalian species
  • Anti-Luciferase Antibody (Luci17) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for Luciferase Antibody (Luci17) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with Luciferase Antibody (Luci17) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

Luciferase Antibody (Luci17) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Luciferase from Photinus pyralis through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Luciferase (Luci17) antibody comes in non-conjugated forms and various conjugates including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® options for diverse experimental applications. Luciferase from the North American firefly catalyzes luciferin conversion with oxygen and ATP to produce light at 562 nm wavelength. This reaction enables real-time monitoring of cellular processes, making Luciferase an essential tool for gene expression studies, bioluminescent imaging, cancer research, drug discovery, and environmental monitoring.

Laut Angabe ist der Antikörper gegen das gesamte Luciferase-Protein geraised, aber wird gleichzeitig als monoklonal deklariert. Gegen welches Epitop wurde der Antikörper dann aufgereinigt (gleiche Frage gilt für den Luciferase Antikörper (C-12): sc-74548)

Asked by: MatthiasFJ
Vielen Dank für Ihre Frage. Bisher wurde kein Epitopmapping für diesen Antikörper durchgeführt, dementsprechend haben wir aktuell noch keine Informationen darüber, wo exakt das Epitop innerhalb der Proteinsequenz liegt. Thank you for your question. No epitope mapping has been performed for this antibody as of yet, so at this point in time we cannot say where on the protein sequence it binds exactly.
