LSECtin Antibody (SOTO-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a λ light chain antibody that detects human LSECtin by immunoprecipitation (IP) and flow cytometry (FCM). LSECtin monoclonal antibody (SOTO-1) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Liver and lymph node Sinusoidal Endothelial C-type lectin (LSECtin), also known as C-type lectin superfamily 4 member G (CLEC4G), functions as a type II transmembrane glycoprotein in the immune system. LSECtin is primarily expressed on liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, functioning as a lectin receptor that binds specific carbohydrates including mannose, N-acetylglucosamine, and L-fucose in a calcium-dependent manner. This binding capability enables LSECtin to serve as an attachment factor for viral pathogens, potentially concentrating them in lymph nodes and liver - critical sites for immune response initiation. LSECtin gene resides within a gene cluster containing CD23, DC-SIGN, and DC-SIGNR on chromosome 19p13.2, highlighting its evolutionary relationship with other immune receptors.

How can LSECtin (SOTO-1): sc-65478 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: cjMara
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-65478 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-65478 FITC).
