Lrrfip1 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Lrrfip1 of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Lrrfip1 (G-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LRRFIP1, also known as GCF2, consists of 738 amino acids and functions as a transcriptional repressor, preferentially binding to the GC-rich consensus sequence (5′-AGCCCCCGGCG-3′). This binding regulates the expression of key growth factors such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF), epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and platelet-derived growth factor A (PDGF-A), influencing various cellular processes including smooth muscle cell proliferation following arterial injury. The N-terminus of LRRFIP1 shows high homology to the coiled-coil domain of FLAP, a protein that interacts with the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) of Flightless I, suggesting a functional link between these proteins. LRRFIP1 has a high affinity for double-stranded RNA, with two molecules binding to the TaR stem, and the identified RNA binding domain contains a lysine-rich motif. This interaction connects the actin cytoskeleton and RNA in mammalian cells, highlighting LRRFIP1′s role in cellular architecture and function.
