SEE ALSO...

LRRC8D Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRRC8D protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRRC8D (A-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LRRC8D protein, also known as leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 8D, is a multi-pass membrane protein consisting of 858 amino acids and features thirteen leucine-rich repeats (LRRs). LRRs are critical for LRRC8D protein′s function, as these repeats facilitate protein-protein interactions essential for various cellular processes, including those involved in innate immunity and nervous system development. LRRs allow LRRC8D to adopt a versatile structural framework, which is vital for forming complexes with other proteins. Mutations in genes encoding LRR-containing proteins, such as LRRC8D, have been linked to several human diseases, underscoring LRRC8D′s significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and function.
