LRRC21 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRRC21 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRRC21 (F-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 21 (LRRC21) is a 623 amino acid protein characterized by six leucine-rich repeats, which are crucial for mediating protein-protein interactions. These repeats form a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold, allowing LRRC21 to engage in diverse interactions essential for cellular processes, particularly in retinal expression. LRRC21 plays a significant role in phototransduction, converting light into electrical signals in the retina, highlighting LRRC21′s importance in vision. Mutations in genes encoding LRR-containing proteins, including LRRC21, have been linked to various human diseases, underscoring LRRC21′s relevance in both health and disease.
