SEE ALSO...

LRP11 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LRP11 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LRP11 Antibody (D-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LRP11, also known as low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 11 or MANSC3, is a 500 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein that plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism and cellular signaling. LRP11 is part of the LDL receptor gene family, which is characterized by a unique structure that includes a cluster of cysteine-rich class A repeats, epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like repeats, YWTD repeats, and an O-linked sugar domain. These structural motifs are essential for LRP11′s function, as they facilitate interactions with various ligands and receptors, thereby influencing processes such as endocytosis and signal transduction. LRP11 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 6q25.1, a region associated with several diseases, including early onset intestinal cancer and Parkinson′s disease, highlighting LRP11′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states.
