LPPR4 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LPPR4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LPPR4 (E-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LPPR4 protein, also known as lipid phosphate phosphatase-related protein type 4, plays a crucial role in the nervous system, as LPPR4 is exclusively expressed in neurons and is essential for hydrolyzing lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a lipid mediator involved in cell signaling. By facilitating axonal outgrowth during development and regenerative sprouting, LPPR4 contributes significantly to neuronal plasticity and repair mechanisms following injury. This 763 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein belongs to the PA-phosphatase related phosphoesterase family and exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms, with LPPR4 gene located on human chromosome 1p21.2. LPPR4′s ability to modulate lipid signaling pathways underscores LPPR4′s importance in neurobiology and potential implications in neurodegenerative diseases, making anti-LPPR4 antibody (E-10) a valuable tool for researchers studying neuronal function and pathology.
