SEE ALSO...

LPP Antibody (8B3A11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LPP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LPP Antibody (8B3A11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LPP (8B3A11) antibody recognizes LIM-containing lipoma-preferred partner, which plays a crucial role in cellular processes by acting as a scaffolding protein that facilitates the assembly of signaling complexes at sites of cell adhesion, such as focal adhesions and cell-cell contacts. This localization is vital for maintaining cellular integrity and communication, as LPP helps regulate cytoskeletal dynamics and signal transduction pathways essential for cell migration and tissue development. LPP (8B3A11) monoclonal antibody targets a protein that can translocate to the nucleus, where LPP influences gene expression through transcriptional activation, further underscoring its importance in cellular function. The human LPP gene is located on chromosome 3q28 and preferentially translocates to the HMGIC gene in a specific subset of benign mesenchymal tumors called lipomas, highlighting its potential role in tumorigenesis.
