LOXL3 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects lysyl oxidase-like 3 (LOXL3) in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LOXL3 plays a crucial role in the extracellular matrix by facilitating elastogenesis, which is the formation of elastic fibers essential for maintaining tissue elasticity and resilience. LOXL3 is predominantly localized in the extracellular space, where LOXL3 is vital for the structural integrity of tissues, particularly in organs that require significant elasticity, such as the lungs and skin.
