SEE ALSO...

LLH1 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LLH1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LLH1 (B-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LLH1 plays a critical role in collagen biosynthesis, specifically by hydroxylating lysine residues within collagen′s triple helix structure, which is essential for the formation of stable cross-links that provide tensile strength to connective tissues. This post-translational modification is vital for maintaining the structural integrity of collagen, and any deficiency in LLH1 can lead to serious connective tissue disorders, such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type VI, characterized by joint hypermobility and skin fragility. LLH1 is predominantly expressed in tissues such as the liver, heart, lung, skeletal muscle, and kidney, highlighting its importance in various physiological processes. Anti-LLH1 antibody (B-5) effectively detects this protein across multiple applications, making LLH1 (B-5) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying collagen-related diseases and the underlying mechanisms of connective tissue disorders.
